Have you tried a Hendricks Gin H&T yet?

Have you tried a Hendricks Gin H&T yet?

All hail the humble Hendrick’s Gin and Tonic – more commonly known as an H&T. Now we love a good G&T here at Hello Joburg, and we love the fact that World Rose Day, World Gin Day and World Cucumber Day are all celebrated in one month, and just a few days apart too!

Taking residence in the centre of wintertime, Hendrick’s invites you to stir up the most classic of our charmingly peculiar tipples. Might we suggest, to all curiously minded individuals and those longing for the inquisitive, the Hendrick’s Gin and Tonic?

The infusion of rose petals and cucumber is the perfect double act for celebrating the festivities, exquisitely complimenting the gins inherent juniper elixir.

As we look to all of the elements that go into creating Hendrick’s Gin, we raise a glass to the rose; and more notably, to their beloved cucumber companion, welcome the H&T, Hello Joburgers.

You can visit one of the 20 participating bars across Gauteng, the Western Cape and Kwa-Zulu Natal before June 14 and get in on the action!

The bars will accept bona fide cucumbers of any species as currency in exchange for a refreshing Hendrick’s & Tonic.

The exchange will be limited to the first 30 patrons from 18:00 onwards every day until Thursday, June 14, otherwise known as World Cucumber Day.
