Join Miss SA at the HSH Princess Charlene of Monaco Raceday

We had so much fun with the team from Racing It’s a Rush last weekend that we are going back again on Saturday 21st April for the highly anticipated HSH Princess Charlene of Monaco Raceday – and of course our Miss South Africa 2017 Dr Adè van Heerden will be there and you can join her!

Van Heerden is a medical doctor and before being crowned Miss South Africa 2017 was a lieutenant at Military 2 Hospital in Cape Town. She is no stranger to the racecourse and this time joins us in a far more relaxed atmosphere to just enjoy the Sport of Kings (and Queen’s) in the Racing. It’s a Rush Member’s Lounge. Of course, the public will absolutely love seeing her up close and in the parade ring when she makes her presentation.

Says Dr Van Heerden: “I am looking so forward to being apart of HRH Princess Charlene’s Raceday, it is not only an opportunity to dress up like a princess and take part in this very elegant event but most importantly a chance to support the beneficiaries involved .”

Among all the spectacular races on the day, which includes the Grade 1 HSH Princess Charlene Empress Club Stakes, a best dressed couple competition will take place for patrons in the Member’s Lounge. The lucky couple will win a prize, sponsored by Sun International for a 2 night stay at the amazing Sun City resort.

Entrance to the lounge is R150 per head, a strict dress code of top hats and tails will apply for gents, and hats or fascinators for the ladies.
