Oh our giddy aunts - you won't believe - we have 5 sets of double…
We are all on the quest for beautiful, smooth and younger looking skin, aren’t we, Hello Joburgers? We were super excited to firstly find out about K-Beauty (Korean Beauty) products and their amazing range, and secondly that they are now available in South Africa. Yay!
Korean’s are known for their beautiful skins, and for taking care of them with only the best products – in fact reference to skincare has been found in Korean drawings dating back to around 700 BC.
Ancient traditions are the inspiration for Korean skin care innovation that is now trending around the world, and the fact that their skin care technology is estimated to be 12-14 years ahead of the US has us intrigued.
Only the best will do. Koreans appreciate true quality and demand the most high performing products. Result driven skincare and strict product standards within an extremely competitive market drives Korean skin care products to be among the best in the world.
Prevention is better than cure and K-beauty principles focus on protecting the skin and preventing damage. Koreans understand that beautiful skin is not a miracle and does not happen overnight, but rather results from a regular regimen of cleansing, exfoliating, hydration and sun protection.
The fact that their products are also really affordable is also a huge bonus. Korean women spend twice as much on skin care as American women, and the Korean beauty industry is extremely competitive.
With thousands of Korean beauty brands on the market, competition is fierce to bring consumers the best quality products at affordable prices.
Korean skin care is cruelty free – with many brands focusing on strict vegetarian or vegan product development. We find it reassuring to know that South Korea is in the process of phasing out animal testing for cosmetics by 2018. The bill entered into law earlier this year!!
Although Korean skin care is available internationally, obtaining these products in South Africa proved to be the ultimate challenge. Until now.
Ranges include: Suntique, Laneige, Lindsay, J.One, Klairs and more.
