AUSTRALIA’S ‘RIBS & BURGERS’ LANDS ON LOCAL SHORES
Looking for a new place to ‘meat’ and have a meal with friends and family? Allow us to introduce you to: Ribs & Burgers. The international restaurant –phenomenon that’s gained momentum in Australia, UK and the United States – will officially be opening their doors in September in Menlyn Maine, in Pretoria.
The restaurant, which was founded in Australia by Bradley Michael (an ex-South African who emigrated to Australia), will be lead locally by Savva and Natasha Sideris (the sibling duo who brought us the oh-so-popular Tasha’s franchis) alongside restaurant consultant, Nic Marot.
In a country filled with meat lovers you may be wondering what it is about this boutique restaurant that sets it apart from its competitors. Apart from its fresh, hot and succulent ribs and burgers (and other Aussie style-delights we’re particularly keen on trying), Ribs & Burgers (which will serve South African free range grass fed beef and free-range chicken) combines its food with a warm and friendly atmosphere along with a cozy vintage interior.
An open style kitchen provides a theatre experience of the food preparation (which promises to have a local twist on it) for the customers, which allows you to engage with the brand and indulge in a new casual dining experience.
Not a meat eater? Don’t fret! Ribs & Burgers provides customers with an array of healthy options – so there’s something for everyone.
