Cresta Shopping Centre festive season lineup

Don’t let 2021 end on a flat note. Instead, get into the spirit with everything on offer at Cresta Shopping Centre. The Festive SEAson program offers a variety of activities for the entire family.  It is safe to say that the entertainment lineup at Cresta this holiday season is so impressive that you may find yourself looking for excuses to go back to the shops.

Live Entertainment

Performances brought to you by Young Rebel Recording Studio will showcase their unique talents and impress you to the core with their shows and live music. Aerial art and performance by The Cirk will leave you speechless as they push the boundaries of the art form.

When was the last time you went out to a show and didn’t have to pay for it? Cresta Shopping Centre has taken care of that. They will host a Christmas Eve show at the Main Banking Court, where The Cirk’s spectacular aerial show will stun audiences. An exciting lineup is planned with performances by headliners like Pops Mohamed as well.

Santa Claus is coming to town

And what is Christmas without special memories? So capture your children’s excitement when they meet Father Christmas at the Santa Photo area in the upper-level food court. Pictures are also reasonably priced at R10 for digital and R20 for printed images.

Surf, sea and fishies in Joburg?

Barnyard Court has been transformed into a Beach-themed attraction.  A giant Octopus Jumping Castle and crafts, augmented reality and virtual reality attractions are sure to delight children of all ages. Parents will also be able to watch their little ones from the beach-themed seating area, so they can keep an eye on them as they dip their toes in the sand.

With over 34 fish species, the CrestAquariam Fish Tank will transport your children to a peaceful and magical environment. It is important to teach children about the importance of protecting the marine environment at the Under The Sea Marine Exploration Exhibition at Cresta, which provides a realistic experience with animatronic models so visitors will feel as if they are on the Coast while exploring this exhibit. The exhibitions remind us of the beauty and majesty of marine life and our responsibility to protect it. As a result, we become more conscious of our impact and footprint, and we teach the children the importance of picking up after themselves and keeping our beaches clean and safe.

Complimentary gift wrapping

Festive season gift wrapping

Cresta Shopping Centre has even thought of wrapping your gifts for you this year, so you don’t have to worry about that either. Leaving you more time to sip on that delicious glass of gin. When you show your till slip from any store at Cresta, the Brand Ambassadors will wrap your gifts free of charge.  Three gift-wrapping stations are located throughout the Mall, so there is no need to stand in line.

While spoiling yourself and your loved ones, don’t forget to spread some Christmas cheer to the needy. Kindness like Confetti and Mini Miracles partner with Cresta to support new mothers after giving birth. These organisations donate essentials to mums and babies, including clothing and toiletries. There is a collection point at each gift wrapping station.

Cresta Shopping Centre puts your safety first and complies with all safety and health protocols. As a result, Cresta Shoppers can shop safely in a secure environment. They also have sanitiser at all high-traffic touchpoints.
