What was the inspiration behind your latest EP?
‘Parts of a Broken Man’ (set for release end March) is inspired by things that I have experienced in my life that sculpted me as a person, mostly relationships. Sometimes they take a big chunk out of you and sometimes they fill the holes. These are some of the parts of me.
The first CD you ever owned?
Hahaha it’s a goodie; Avril Lavigne “Let Go”.

Who is your biggest idol in the music industry?
In South Africa currently, I’d say Bad Peter. I love how they refuse to be anything other than themselves. Internationally I would say Damien Rice because of his beautiful lyrics and well thought out songs.
Where would we find you joling on the weekends?
I am a regular at Carvers pub in Darrenwood and also enjoy a good Melville jol!
