There’s many things we can count on each year to change the way we look at technology. Phones are getting faster, bigger and are starting to replace other gadgets that we’ve counted on for so many years. This being said, Samsung has revealed their all new Galaxy S20 series at the Unpacked event held in San Francisco and they pulled out all the stops for the world to see.
The introduction of the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra is revolutionary. Three gorgeous new devices that fit each market just right. You’ve got the S20 and S20+ which were made for the ultimate media consumer. Sporting a 6.2 and 6.7 AMOLED display on the S20 + S20 Plus and then, an even bigger 6.9inch screen on the S20 Ultra, which promises to be the “end of all cameras” as said at the unpacked event.
Now, more than ever, we capture our lives and tell our stories through our smartphones—and that is why the camera is the single-most important feature for consumers purchasing a new smartphone. Designed for the way we live, the Galaxy S20 introduces an entirely new camera system—powered by AI and with our biggest image sensor yet—to bring out the best in every image and every moment.
The Galaxy S20’s camera offers super-high resolution (108MP for the Galaxy S20 Ultra; 64MP for the Galaxy S20 and S20+) to bring out the details with stunning clarity. The Galaxy S20 Ultra takes things a step further by combining nine pixels into one at the sensor level for higher quality images in low light, using cutting-edge binning technology.
All this means juice is needed, Samsung powered these phones with a big, intelligent battery, the Galaxy S20 line comes with a 25W fast charger, while the Ultra supports 45W Super Fast charging. There’s so much more to talk about with the partnership with Netflix and Spotify, but we’re not going to give all away just yet!
Now that the new S20 range is here, will you be getting your hands on one of the hottest devices of 2020? Samsung has definitely given us all the reason to upgrade this year with such high-spec features.
Starting on March 6, 2020, the Galaxy S20 series will be available in various, classic colours at all major mobile retailers, the recommended retail prices are as follows:
Galaxy S20: R18999.00
Galaxy S20+: R20999.00
Galaxy S20 Ultra: R26999.00
