How to make the cheesiest, most delicious nachos ever

One of the easiest snacks that always has people coming back for more has to be a big plate of cheesy nachos!  For this recipe we used beef, but you can also substitute it for chicken or mixed beans.

 Serves 4 

 You’ll need: 

250g tortilla chips (If you can’t find them, plain Doritos do the trick) 

500g minced beef 

250g grated mature cheddar cheese 

200g chunky salsa 

1 tin of drained kidney beans 

1 onion chopped finely 

Olive oil 

How to: 

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. 

Fry the onion in a pan with a dash of olive oil until see-through. 

Add the mince and cook halfway. 

Add the chunky salsa and the kidney beans, cook until the meat is done. 

Put the tortilla chips on a heatproof plate, top with the mince mixture and the cheese. Cook until the cheese has melted and the edges of the chips are crispy. 

For the topping you can add a variety of extras, such as: 

Guacamole, sour cream, fresh tomatoes, coriander, jalapenos and spring onions.
