A smart-casual vibe is what you can expect from the newest member of the Momo family, Momo Nikko. The Momo brand has taken the city by storm and it’s easy to see why everyone has fallen in love with all four restaurants: They’re consistent, affordable and innovative – not to mention that you can pitch up in sneakers and a hoodie and not feel underdressed.

As far as the menu is concerned, we’ll just say that we’re still regretting not ordering seconds. The chow includes the usual poké bowls, baos, sushi and our all-time favourite matcha chocolate tart. But that’s not all – the restaurant has just launched some new additions to the menu, such as the Nikkei sushi roll – acevichado tuna roll with the cunning inclusion of toasted crunchy quinoa on the outside – and the vegetarian Nueva Rioja; crispy butternut roll with smoky carrot lox on the outside and a smothering of hypnotic gochu mayo.

There are also new tostadas and Hamachi fish dishes plus purple cured Norwegian salmon. One thing is for sure – you’ll never regret a Momo visit. PS: They’re halaal, so you can BYOB!
