When it comes to triple-digit cocktails, it’s all about Mix Bar’s Not an Espresso Martini. A favourite with discerning drinkers at the sexy sundowner spot, the R135 drink serves up a decadent nutty delight with a citrus finish. The ‘tini gets its kick courtesy of Pyrat Rum and Disaronno, offset by a potent splash of cold brew coffee, chocolate and cellulose. An espresso bean tops off the java-spiked sip.

Descend into this green-with-envy street den for a seriously stiff creamy cocktail. The spirits-forward concoction of A Streetbar Named Desire’s Lavender Honey Cream fuses a mix of Inverroche Verdant gin and heavy cream layered with a rich blend of egg white and lavender honey syrup. The ingredients are shaken together with ice before being strained into a coupé.

Don’t be put off by the name of Liquid Blue’s Apple & Rum Fondue Jar – this is chocolate fondue taken to new heights in a 1.5-litre jar with double measures of Bacardi Superior, Bacardi Oakheart and Bacardi Gold, mixed with homemade chocolate fondue syrup, Tang Apple Sours and freshly squeezed lemon juice, and topped with an apple fan. Try your hand at this cracking Easter cocktail
Planning a boozy brunch or a party with friends over the Easter holidays? Try making The Landmark’s The Blue Swan cocktail, which creatively captures the flavours of the season in one oh-so-indulgent sip. Start by muddling a handful of blueberries and then combine the muddled berries with 40ml Swanson African Nightshade Berry gin, 40ml Bols Cacao White, 30ml full cream milk and 15ml white chocolate syrup in a shaker and shake, shake, shake! Next, fine strain the drink into a coupé and then garnish with three blueberries and a sprinkling of hot chocolate powder.
