Our top 5 Prosecco Spritz cocktails

Hello Joburgers, these refreshing prosecco fizz cocktails are perfect for enjoying on warm days this festive season!

Pear Elderflower Spritz  

Glass: antique martini   

Method: Pre-chill the antique martini glass with ice. Place all the ingredients into a shaker and shake vigorously, until the tin is frozen. Discard the ice from the pre-chilled glass, pour the ingredients using a hawthorn strainer into the glass. Top with prosecco and Garnish.  

Ingredients: 

50 ml Tanqueray 10 

25ml elderflower cordial  

15ml pear puree or pear juice  

15ml cold pressed lemon juice  

Top prosecco   

Garnish: pear fan and mint sprig

Cloud 9 Spritz  

Glass: coupe – pre-chilled with cubed ice   

Method: Pre-chill the coupe glass with ice. Place all the ingredients into a shaker and shake vigorously, until the tin is frozen. Discard the ice from the pre-chilled glass, pour the ingredients using a hawthorn strainer into the glass. Top with prosecco and Garnish.  

Ingredients: 

35ml Star of Bombay Sapphire

15ml elderflower cordial  

12.5ml cold pressed lemon juice  

5ml blue curacao  

50ml litchi Juice  

Top Prosecco   

Garnish: lemon zest

Pomegranate/Vanilla Spritz   

Glass: speakeasy wine or wine glass 

Method: Pre-chill speakeasy wine or wine glass with ice. Place all the ingredients into a shaker and shake vigorously, until the tin is frozen. Discard the ice from the pre-chilled glass, pour the ingredients using a hawthorn strainer into the glass. Top with prosecco and Garnish  

Ingredients: 

50ml pomegranate/vanilla infused vodka  

15ml freshly pressed pomegranate juice  

12.5ml pomegranate cordial  

12.5ml cold pressed lemon juice  

Top Prosecco  

Garnish: orange zest and edible flowers

Grapefruit and Rosemary Spritz  

Glass: large wine glass – filled with cubed ice  

Method: Pour all the ingredients into the glass filled with crushed ice, stir until all the ingredients are combined together. Top with prosecco and garnish 

Ingredients: 

50ml Tanqueray 10 

15ml cold pressed grapefruit juice   

12.5ml rhubarb puree   

Dash cold pressed lime juice  

Top Prosecco   

Garnish: orange zest and edible flowers    

Elderflower Fizz 

Glass: antique wine or standard wine glass. 

Method: Pour all the ingredients into the glass filled with cubed, stir until all the ingredients are combined together. Top with prosecco and garnish 

Ingredients: 

50ml Tanqueray London Dry   

15ml elderflower cordial  

12.5ml cold pressed lemon juice  

top Prosecco  

Garnish: edible flower
