Exciting news, fellow foodies! One of our favourite local celebrity chefs, Reuben Riffel, will be opening his very first restaurant in Gauteng in Sandton inside The Capital Moloko Hotel on 1 August 2018.

Chef Riffel already has a number of restaurants in the Western Cape, in locations including Cape Town Waterfront and Paternoster.
Reuben’s Sandton will be somewhat similar to Reuben’s Franschhoek, with an à la carte menu that focuses on local and global flavours in classic and new dishes, as well as a large 100-seater space.

There will be many delicious dishes to look forward to, from a Wagyu burger with boerekaas, creamy peri-peri livers with Gorgonzola and warm brioche toast, crispy pork belly with pork croquette and compressed mango and papaya, to Asian beef cheek and oxtail with coconut steamed basmati rice.
The restaurant is currently receiving its final touches before it opens later this week. It will be open for lunch and dinner from Monday to Sunday. It will also offer an outdoor patio and bar, a 12-seater private dining area and a cigar bar. We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait, Hello Joburgers!
