Dining Out

The taste and feeling of Paris at Tashas Le Parc Hyde Park

September 12, 2018, Author: Hello Joburg

Inspired by the sidewalk cafes in Paris, Tashas Le Parc provides elevated bistro dining in a casual yet stylish environment. The French inspiration is evident not only on the menu but also in the interior details.

Whether you would like a Croque Madame for breakfast, a Salade Niçoise for lunch or their famous line fish with sauce vierge for dinner, there is something for every palate. Also, on offer are abundant breakfasts, delicious salads, burgers, and sandwiches. The “Food for Thought” part of the menu is perfect for those looking for a healthy bite.

As Natasha Sideris, founder of Tashas, says, “Every Tashas is a little bit different and a little bit the same.” In creating Tashas Le Parc, Sideris was inspired by her many trips to France. The interior courtyard is reminiscent of the cafes along the Boulevard Saint-Germain with marble café tables and classic French Bistro chairs. As with all Tashas, the attention to detail is impeccable.

The long, luxurious, green velvet sofa with natural light streaming through the skylight is the perfect place for a relaxing respite in the middle of the day while the elegant elevated bar tables dotted around the courtyard are an ideal place to for a coffee, light lunch or a meeting.

Rumour has it that they also have the best macaroons in Africa. If they don’t capture your imagination, the freshly baked bread made on site every day will.

Tashas Le Parc lives up to the Tashas promise of “Brilliant food. Stunning environments. Engagingly delivered.”
